What is Salik?
Salik, meaning "open" or "clear" in Arabic, is Dubai's electronic toll road system. Launched by the Roads and Transport Authority (RTA), it utilizes advanced Radio Frequency Identification (RFID) technology to automatically deduct toll fees as you pass under toll gates.

How Salik Works

Register Vehicle
Purchase a Salik tag online or from an authorized dealer (gas stations, banks) and register it to your vehicle.
Install Tag
Stick the Salik tag on the interior of your windshield, just below the rearview mirror, for optimal scanning.

Simply drive under any toll gate. The sensor detects your tag and automatically deducts the fee.
